OUR CHALLENGE
Facilitate licensing agreements that allow an international client to safely import and sell Level 1 surgical face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic through our company.
OUR APPROACH
To expedite and streamline the compliance process, FLATSIX completed the necessary legislative reviews, secured a Medical Device Establishment Class 1 License in our name, and collaborated with our client to meet product specification requirements and testing guidelines. In addition to product packaging and labelling, we built a custom information technology solution to manage sales, inventory, purchase orders, shipping and receiving and a lot tracing system.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
Our licenses, internal policies and procedures required by Health Canada, and ability to navigate the complex regulatory system allowed our overseas supplier to safely import and sell their product in Canada. FLATSIX now has a fully integrated turnkey technology system that can be utilized for similar future projects.
