Implement a business solution to shift one of B.C.’s industrial equipment suppliers from bricks-and-mortar to an online sales model.
Based on the data we collected from analyzing supply chain operations, in-store workflows and various internal databases, we identified how to consolidate operations, minimize process duplication and optimize labour efforts through technology adoption. Starting with a customer journey mapping excercise, we redesigned the customer acquisition and sales model based on a newly developed product information model and inventory management process delivered though a single point of sale hardware solution.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
We developed a fully responsive Shopify e-commerce site that can transact in-store sales, on-account sales and online sales for over 2,000 SKU’s. The implementation included real-time dashboards and connectivity into QuickBooks accounting software, plus automated purchased order management.
